Who are we you ask?!








A community-based annual international music, art, food and dress festival will be established and the April 2011 event will be the inaugural one. The Hills of Music is a project under Metlhaetsile Women's Center.

The Hills of Music was conceived by The Festival Founder, Unity Dow who then put together a consortium of artsy individuals. The aim of The Hills of Music is the hosting of an annual International Music, Art, Food and Dress Festival. The Hills of Music will host is inaugural event, a three day festival, in April 2011 specifically; the 22nd 23rd and 24th. This will be a festival showcasing international music, art, food and dress. The festival‘s primary purpose is the celebration of the different cultures, national, regional and international found in Botswana.

Each day will start at 10am and end at 6pm. The 10am to 3pm performances will be run from the 6-10 concurrent stages while the 3pm to 6pm performances will be run from the main anchor stage.

To open up the finale shows each day will be an International Fashion show that showcase International dress in a stylish, modern , creative and innovative way.


Performing at the finales will be Shanti Lo, Lister Boleseng, Socca Moruakgomo, Scar, Smarh,Hellen and Eugene Jackson who are all acclaimed Botswana artists!
